Latin Sounds-Tell Us More

6 to 9/10-1...that's a marathon shift! How popular is this show? Would like to know more about the host, John. Has The Chanticleer or The Anniston Star ever done a story on the show/host ? It's got to be rare to have Spanish language programmming in this part of the country...It would be interesting to get the local Latin American community's take on this show.

Does the host have a website or blog?

Would also be cool to hear a pre-produced(cart)promo for the show
en ingles throughout the week and NPR and student specialty show promos en espanol during Latin Sounds. Promote, promote, promote...

Admittedly my Spanish is not so good. What are the chances the host could interject a little english into the broadcast to educate us non spanish speakers about the music?

These latin artists and compilations would sound great on WLJS, some even during the week in regular rotation
