MORE STUDENTS . . . less NPR

With the amount of students that have to have media workshops for their Communication Degrees we have extended the student programming section of WLJS. Student programming will now begin at 11:00 am Monday through Friday. These are mostly new DJs that will be cutting their teeth on the radio so please be patient with them. I'm so totally diggin' the change in programming!!! I've always wanted to hear my college station more, but it just never seemed to have music when I listened!! Thank you so much 92J and I hope the station says this way for A LONG TIME!!!

I love the new DJ's! Even if some of them are behind the learning curve. It shows the genuine hardwork our fellow class mates are putting into OUR entertainment. I have no problem listening to our new DJ's stumble over their news breifings or their political satire. I think it is great that 92J has offered them the airtime to connect more with the student body. The variety of music is amazing and refreshing. I wish there was a way I could rock a 92J bumper sticker around campus so other typical "i'm better than this place" students could be exposed to something bigger than themselves. Thank you very much to everyone at 92J. I love listening.
